The world’s best-known Vespa rally will be in Celle from 22nd – 25th June 2017
More than 5000 cult Vespa scooters will take over the town and its surroundings during the Vespa World Days, which will be based on the site of the CD-Kaserne. The so-called “Vespa Village” will be there: a dealer’s area, a Vespa Museum, Food & Drink and various smaller events during the day and evenings. The Vespa heartbeat will beat in Celle on those four days.
Formerly known as the Eurovespa, the event took place annually in the years 1954 to 2006 – with a short break in the Seventies. Vespa Lovers from all over Europe and further afield met for the largest and best-known rally of its type. The last Eurovespa was in Turin, Italy in 2006. In 2006 the Piaggio group and the Piaggio Foundation founded the Vespa World Club with the aim of promoting, uniting and coordinating all Vespa Clubs. In 2007 the event was renamed as Vespa World Days. 17 years after the last event of its kind in Germany – in Hamburg in 2000 – the Vespa World Days 2017 will take place in Celle.
We expect approximately 5000 registered visitors from Germany, Europe and the whole world. All of these participants are members in a Vespa Club, which is part of the Vespa World Club and register for all four event days. All registered participants receive a goody bag, can participate in ride outs and smaller tours in the local area, and have access to the dealer’s area, the Vespa Museum and various evening events. These visitors also use their visit to get to know Celle and the surrounding area. All participants have a Vespa scooter – both older and modern models will be represented.
Don’t miss this once in a lifetime event and come and experience the Vespa community – all daily guests have free entry to the Vespa Village.
