Fresh water fish specialists in seven generations, for over 200 years

Our small farm shop is idyllically located on the edge of the Old Town directly on the river Aller. We have been here for our customers, with fresh fish, for seven generations and over 200 years. As early as 1804 Maria Elisabeth sold the fish to the French stationed in Celle. Since then, the business has been carried on from generation to generation. Today, we, Petra and Hans-Friedrich Nölke, sell our fresh fish directly on the Aller every Friday and Saturday. We smoke very traditionally in an old stone oven with a special mixture of alder and beech wood. This creates a real delicacy.
