Heide-Park Resort

North Germany’s biggest family and leisure park turns every day into an exciting adventure

Why not go with your family, friends, colleagues or your entire school class? The Heide Park Resort offers entertainment and fun for everyone. From 2013, the stars from “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” – Alex the lion, Gloria the hippo and King Julien the ruler of the lemurs – will perform a breathtaking live-show for all the family at the big top right at the heart of the Heide Park Resort. Adrenaline junkies are welcome to board Europe’s highest and fastest wooden roller coaster or the world’s tallest freefall tower. And for those, who want to go on a mini-break, Heide Park Resort offers unique accommodation at Hotel Port Royal and Holiday Camp.

Bucht der Totenkopfpiraten (pirates’ bay), Land der Vergessenen (land of the lost), Wild Wild West or Transsilvanien (Transylvania): the four themed worlds at Heide Park Resort stand for shared and exciting experiences. On Colossos, Europe’s highest and fastest wooden roller coaster, adrenaline junkies tear through the “land of the lost” with a speed of up to 110 km/h. And in the “pirates’ bay” guests discover Germany’s first dive coaster KRAKE and a truly scary chamber of horrors with live actors and special effects. Situated in the middle of a vast 850,000 square metre park land in the Lüneburg Heath, Heide Park Resort offers countless possibilities for spending an exciting day with all the family.

Depending on guests’ preferences, their age and on how much of a thrill-seeker they are, they can make up their own individual fun day by choosing their favourites from the over 50 attractions and shows at North Germany’s largest family and leisure park. There are more than 40 rides, offering everything from calm and gentle to fast and furious. Scream, for example, the world’s tallest gyro-drop tower, will give visitors the greatest freefall they have ever experienced. With the suspended looping coaster Limit, the seasoned leisure park enthusiast will see the world upside down, in the Swiss Bob Ride visitors hurtle along a steel ice track, and the Wild Water Ride pitches and tosses them through rough mountain landscapes. Various shows featuring stunts, comedy and acrobatics round off the entertainment programme.

Children’s eyes light up at the sight of the Pixie Town Train, the children’s freefall tower Screamie or the Red Baron carousel, and when they go Mountain Rafting, they may well be in for a big soak. The family leisure programme is rounded off by a number of playgrounds for climbing, sliding and romping around, and there is also the ever popular children’s mile for the youngest members of the family.
